Fort Lauderdale Beach Villa

Max Tallent Corp was hired to redesign and reconstruct every inch of this beachside villa, creating a fully customized interior that addressed both aesthetic goals and challenging functional requirements. One of the key design requests was to develop a shared bathroom arrangement that could serve both guests and the homeowner while still maintaining the privacy, scale, and feel of a true primary suite. The ceiling became a defining architectural feature, with existing trusses exposed and clad to emphasize the height of the space, then paired with tongue-and-groove wood decking for warmth and texture. Hidden lighting and up-lighting spotlights were carefully integrated to highlight the structure and create depth, resulting in a distinctive ceiling composition that gives the residence much of its architectural character.
